Software Developer PL/1 in

For our growing company, we are looking for motivated employees (m/f/d) who focus on the customer and solve complex tasks. We are looking for Softwaredevelopers (m/f/d) to program PL/1 applications for one of our customers in the insurance sector.

Content:
The planned area of application in the customer project is a quality offensive to ensure the stability of a platform over the long term. You have the opportunity to develop software architecture designs in a small team of developers, thereby developing efficient solutions for our customers.

Your tasks:

• Design, implementation and maintenance of elegant software solutions
• Collaborate with other software engineers, architects, and peers to design scalable and reusable solutions
• Working beyond project boundaries in order to achieve adjustments in technical standards, design, principles and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving orientation and analytical skills

Your qualifications and experience:

• Fluent English • BS / BA degree
• 5-8 years of experience in software design and programming within large projects
• Strong knowledge of PL / 1
• Pronounced experience in dealing with JCL, as well as a profound understanding of the mainframe infrastructure
• Passion for programming • Strong communication skills
• Extensive experience in solving technical problems, as well as debugging and troubleshooting
• Experience in dealing with international projects

Qualifications and experience:

• Solid knowledge of the Linux environment
• Experience in scripting (REXX)
• Experience in the insurance sector or in the financial services sector is an advantage
