Web Developer for Insurance Applications in Munich, Germany (m/f/d)

We are a consultancy company with services in the field of information technology. Our customers come primarily from the insurance and banking sectors, as well as the automotive sector.

You will work in an exciting area of responsibility at a well-known, internationally active large company.

Your tasks:

  • Further development and ensuring the availability of a business-critical web application in the insurance sector
  • Analysis of error situations and design of reusable solutions
  • Intensive collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with other software developers, software architects and departments
  • Customer contact in German and English 

What you should bring with you:

  • Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in software engineering, object-oriented software development and the Java programming language
  • Very good knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, XML, JSP, CSS, HTML5
  • Good knowledge of Jenkins, Github, Maven, Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Docker Container
  • Experience with the development environments Eclipse and IntelliJ
  • Basic knowledge of the IBM DB2 database system
  • Knowledge of the Grafana and Dynatrace monitoring systems from Kibana is an advantage
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Enjoy working independently

  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for what you want to do in the future 

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in the insurance sector or in the financial services sector is an advantage
